Mircea DRAGOMAN / Electronics at Atomic Scale
Abstract
The electronics at atomic scale is the ultimate development of this applied science where electron devices and circuits are based on atomically thin materials and even on individual or few atoms. The talk will presented the latest results obtained in our nanotechnology center dedicated to atomically thin materials which is among the few existing in Europe. Novel quantum devices working at room temperature dedicated to communication and computing will be presented.
Marius ENACHESCU / Metrology for Tomorrow’s Micro- and Nanotechnologies
Abstract
In the World of Semiconductors ruled by Moore’s law, key developments are: advanced Si technology on 300 mm diameter wafers, SiC wafers of 200 mm diameter, 300 mm SOI wafers. Future developments are also targeting 3 nm and 2 nm electronic nodes. For all these technologies and pillars of tomorrow’s micro- and nanoelectronics production, powerful metrology techniques and equipment are indispensable. CSSNT brings surface science, physics and chemistry to support industrial development in micro- and nanoelectronics dedicated projects.
